Anything I need to know before I cast a ring in 14kw + palladium
gain, and maybe anything as a before and after that will help have
this turn out nice. Will be setting (prong set) Saph, and Diamonds.

Check with your metal supplier before you invest the wax, to
determine if your type of investment is compatible with the alloy
you’re using. Some palladium white golds, perhaps due to their
higher melting point (though that’s just a guess), react with
standard “gold” investments giving a rather rough surface and
possibly more porosity. These sometimes require using a platinum type
investment. But my own experience with this was with 18K palladium
white gold. I don’t know if your 14K alloy will behave the same. Ask
your metal supplier. They should know. Or do a small test cast…
