I have been working in brass and bronze for the last year or so. I
like to refer to them as the “ancient metals.” I have had success
with (I have no affiliation with them) The Original Bee’s Wax made by
World Class Promotions. It is an aerosol spray. I stumbled across it
in the local hardware store and got it to try out. I bought a can of
spray clear coat at the same time and have never used it. You spray a
light coat and wipe off immediately before it drys. They provide a
brochure that tells of all its applications that seems too good to be
true but everything I have used it on I have been happy with the
results.
