Anodizing Rectifiers

I am trying to set up a small one gallon anodizing line. I have
everything I need except the most important thing…the rectifier. I
was told that the rectifiers that I found in the Rio catalog were not
suitable for anodizing. The other rectifiers I found were used for
much larger scale anodizing and were way out of my price range.

As an side, if you are looking at the wrong equipment to begin, it
may be that there are other questions about this process that need
to be researched before your leap in. I have seen so many with grand
ideas flounder because the process is not what they thought.

Are you anodizing:

  1. titanium/niobium, or
  2. aluminium

The two types require a different power supply.
