Dear friends: a client has sent a ring to be fix at my shop and at the
final polishing step the ambar stone on the ring was demage loosing
its polishing brightness. Does anyone knows how to polish ambar? Thanks

I scratched a nice amber stone while wire-wrapping it as a pendant.
I buffed it out fairly easily on my buffer using zam. I put the zam
on a tightly stitched yellow buffing pad from Rio Grande. Just keep
buffing until the scratch disappears. Plus the zam leave a nice shine
on the amber. Just don’t let the stone get too hot.
