Alternative metal for casting

With the high price of silver I am trying to find an alternative
metal that I can use to cast molding masters. Bronze is too hard and
I suspect that pewter is too soft. Just wondered if anyone has an
idea on what could be used ?

Thanks

My wife used to use Precious Metals West PM34 alloy (for making 14K
gold) as a “base metal” for making working masters and metal
masters, of course without adding the gold component… Just a
thought!!!
