Affordable photography?

I know there are many fine jewelry photographers out there, and many
of them have been recommended on this list before. Can anyone
recommend someone with a fast turn around time who is also
affordable?

What do I consider affordable? Not $50.00 per picture, not $250.00
an hour.

I know these wonderful folks who charge $250.00 an hour are
fabulous, some day I may use them, no offense to them.

Appreciate your recommendations.

Elaine, It isn’t that difficult to take GOOD photos yourself, and the
’turn-around time’ would be virtually nil. If you’re going to Tucson
this year, you might consider taking Charles Lewton-Brain’s photo
workshop. I am planning to do that. I would look forward to meeting
you.

The best, Jeff Scovil, phoenix, about $25 / shot total obsessed with
perfect lighting. also a talented mineral collector about 1/3 of the
cover shots of lapidary journal in last 10 years are his work. and,
although surely it is trick photography, he makes my stuff look
great. - mark Zirinsky, denver, ‘private cutter buying rough and
