About indium

Does anybody know about INDIUM? Can I use it for softer white
gold?

All I know about INDIUM is that it has an extremely low melting
point. It gets soft from body heat. Had a little piece of the
stuff when I was a kid.

For a softer white gold I use an 18kw alloyed with palladium. As
sheet it’s great but it doesn’t cast well. I get it from G&S
