In the new CeCe Wire book, "Creating Metal Clay Jewelry", one
of the projects specifies .950 eyelets. Does anyone know where
these can be purchased? Thanks. Allison Vezeau
You guessed, it Rio Grande. These are little fine silver loops with
a leg that you can push into the clay. Rio sells two styles, wire
loop and the eyelet. Chris Darway recommends roughing up the metal
first to ensure a better grip by the clay.
Art Clay (www.artclayworld.com) offers a wider array of fine silver
findings, but they are very expensive.
While we're on the subject, for those who might not know, you can't
imbed sterling into PMC, the sterling turns brittle and breaks.
