[4Sale] Torch set up

I have a old torch craftsman big and heavy used for melting large
amounts of metal though my uncle made jewelry with it to. just don’t
ask me how I can’t no matter how hard I try its just to big for me.
He also used it for making fishing lures and bullets for his muzzle
loader. Comes with two regulators one of which needs a new gauge I
understand that these are cheap to replace. And I purchased two of
those safety blowback prevention things they where expensive but
then I did not need them I got another torch set up that came with
everything. I also have a baldor dust collector my little shop is
just to small and I need one that can be mounted on a wall and uses
hoses. Willing to trade also I have been making chasing and repousse
tools inexpensive also willing to trade for tools that I need or
that are on my wish list. email me at sailingchefbpk at comcast dot
net. Or call 305 304 9994 Almost forgot the big news I learned to
drive, sound stupid 35 years of driving and I just learned how to all
over again. Hand controls are the best thing since sliced bread. I am
thrilled, doing my own shopping, going to doctors. Independence
owwww man did I miss that. The little things we take for granted, I
know I never will again.

Best wishes to all

Congratulations on your restored independence and being able to
drive again Jen! That must be a huge relief. I am medically disabled,
with a condition that leaves me very weak which is why I couldn’t
handle my big torch either. I found it impossible to have good torch
control on tiny items when the torch and its hoses were so heavy. I’m
still battling on with my handheld butane torch while I wait to be
able to afford my Little Torch, which is in a couple of weeks
hopefully. That month’s money is ear-marked for the Little Torch and
hopefully nothing will get in the way this time. I hope you get one
that suits you well.

Hi Helen,

I already did get my torch that is why I need to clean out the stuff
I can’t use. Check eBay I got mine there came with everything for
$45 new it was a $300 set up, it does not look all new and pretty but
it works and in the end that’s all the really matters. I know I got a
great deal. And my uncles old relic will have to find a new home. I
watch him make the most beautiful jewelry with that old thing but
what always got me was how he could make those tiny delicate little
piece he could turn out. When I try to lift this monster torch now I
still have a hard time realizing what he was able to do with so
little. Hope you get the torch you want and regain some of your
independence. We are not disabled, we are enabled

Best wishes
Jen

Hi Jen,

We are not disabled, we are enabled

I don’t personally have a problem with the word disabled as there is
no longer the stigma there used to be and people understand it. But
I know what you mean, and yes I am enabled in the sense that if it
weren’t for my medical condition, I’d probably still be teaching
science in high school and not having anywhere near as much fun and
fulfillment as I am at home, making jewellery.

stone setting burs they are old but this set was only used for gold
which you can see because I have not cleaned them up and a few still
have a little peck here and there that needs cleaning out. the one
set I am keeping was even older. Willing to trade also I have been
