2005 Enamelist Society Conference

The 2005 Enamelist Society biennial conference entitled
“Metamorphosis,” will be held September 6th-14th at Arrowmont School
of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, TN.

Juried Exhibition and the Metamorphosis International Juried Student
Exhibition (August 19- September 22, 2005)

    attendees. The work will be displayed in a gallery only for the
    duration of the conference.

The conference itself provides an opportunity for anyone interested
in enameling to here speakers and attend “break out” presentations
as well as network with other enamelists. Linda Darty will be the
keynote speaker. Other speakers include Cork Marcheschi, sculptor,
collector and scholar, who will be speaking on “Camille Faure:
Enameling in the Art Deco Movement.” There will be a panel
discussion on the “State of Enameling in the US Marketplace.” The
panel will include Reed McMillan, head of the American Crafts Council
craft shows.
