1998 events listings

#1

hello all,

I am putting the final edits on an annual planning guide that I
publish for jewelry designers … since we like to be complete
and comprehensive regarding events and opportunities for fine
jewelry designers I thought I’d post here to see if anyone has
any events/shows/lectures/workshops/what-have-you they would like
to promote or share… we list competitions, jewelry shows,
craft fairs, magazines and associations that are useful or of
interest to fine jewelry designers… the only caveat is that
we don’t publish everything, just those in which fine jewelry
design does well.

So please feel free to email me at Franklycin@aol.com if you
have something we should know about for our Guide or the
newsletter we publish or even for the various trade magazines we
write for! Thanks!

I will have a one person exhibit of contemporary jewelry at JR
Kortman Center for Design, Rockford, IL during the month of
February, 1998. An opening reception will be held February 6th
from 5pm to 9pm.

I am new to the Orchid group and look forward to the events
listing.

Thanks,
Deb

Great link! Thank you Ahmed! I noticed that you didn’t include
shows such as The Rosen Group, or Acc. I realize they’re not
strictly for jewelry, but they might as well be.

Thanks Dave, Sorry, but I have no web site yet. I haven’t even
figured out how to use the fax on my computer. I consider myself
technologically challenged… If I ever ger a web site I will
definately post it on Orchid.
