I have always been doing something with my hands. Drawing, painting, designing. And, although I have designed everything from rooms to printed publications, I never thought about designing jewelry. After one metalsmithing class last fall, I was hooked. Since then, I have been taking classes and workshops, reading books and spending lots of money on studio equipment and supplies. While this new obsession is taking away from my golf game, I still run to my studio as soon as I get home from work and retreat there on the weekends.
