I am a practicing psychologist working primarily with people in creative pursuits. I have been making and selling jewelry for around forty years now. I am best at carving and embossing. I carve fossil ivory, amber, wood and wax. I also have worked out some interesting techniques using thin sheet 24k gold. For 5-6 years, I worked on a series of orchids in wax, fossil ivory, 24k gold sheet and amber. I have over 50 botanically accurate species-specific orchid models.
