salukibow

Have been making jewelry since 1973, blowing glass since 1976. Only apprentice of Dominick Labino, melting Labino glass formulas of spectacular and unique colors. Sometimes incorporate glass into jewelry designs. Did a brooch last year for Madeline Allbright. My husband is the Saluki Bow Company, and has recreated 12th to 15th century Aisiatic composite bows, made of waterbuffalo horn, wood and sinew. Currently designing contemporary bows based on ancient design priciples of leverage. I am currently doing castings in 14, 18, and 22 gold. Looking for ways to make the suface of higher caratage look like anicent artifact, rich, warm and lusterous, not 'fresh off the buffing wheel' glittery.; http://www.bakerobrienglass.com
