I am a 26 year old jeweler..I studied in Durban South Africa and have my degree in the afore mentioned field. My work depicts my heritage, which is Indian, but since I have been trained in a the european form my procedures are no necessarily Indian...I am currently in India on contract with a fashion house designing a collection for them...really miss the jewellery enviroment of the workshop, as I am only designing...Ganoskin online has helped keep in the loop of things happening in our industry...I have worked in different mediums such as leather, resin, rubber, silk, and precious metals. As most Indian design goes, I work with repetitive pattern, gaining inspiration from textiles and texutres...my work is very emotive and seems to take life from the experiences that I am going through at any particular time...for the last two years I have working of bridal jewellery...typically Indian, gold and silver with a special glass bead enameling technique I have developed...I believe in looking into oneself for inspiration....
