Hello: My name is Mel Huth and I am director of the California Institute of Jewelry Training in Carmichael, California, near Sacramento. I have been reading the forum from time to time and been noticing the interesting and talented people who are contributing to the forum and find it great to see such a huge collection of craft persons. I could not help notice that CIJT gets rare mention in the forum and I realize that our students are not members. We have been supporting industry for over 27 yearsI think that we need to get our students and graduates involved in the industry through this forum. I myself am enrolled in our FGA Gemology program and am due to take the final Diploma Examination next month in January 2006. I am very excited about our school and our programs. I am looking forward to participating in this forum. I hope to see some of you in Tucson. We are in the AGTA show in Booth 44 in the Galleria.
