I’ve been making jewelry since 1969. I studied metals at the University of Oregon under Max Nixon. After school I worked as a liturgical silversmith. I was one of the first women to get into the Oregon Jewelers Union and the first to work as a journeyman bench worker. I was one of four people who helped build Portlandia. At three and a half stories tall it’s the second largest hammered statue in the world. I am currently semi retired and working with my husband Timothy W Green https://www.finejewelrycraftsman.com/ in our private sudio in Portland Oregon where we make high end jewelry for the trade and teach jewelry making. I am a frequent contributor to Ganoksin Ohrchid, The Metalsmith’s Coffee House and periodically contribute to MJSA Journal. I have taught jewelry making with a technical professional emphasis at Idyllwild, Multnomah Arts Center, Newberg Jewelry Supply and Studio and I was on the Rio Grande Edicational Outreach Board. for 2 years. I like to make beautiful things when I can. My motto is “Have fun and make lots of jewelry.” http://www.timothywgreen.com
