After being a stay-at-home Mom for 20 years, it was time for me to figure out what my 'second career' would be for the next 20 years. I found it in the unique world of PMC. I have been working with Precious Metal Clay since 1999. I am a certified instructor and teach classes and workshops. I wrote a book called "Creating with Precious Metal Clay' that was released in June 2002. My work is being sold in a few galleries nationally, and I am gradually expanding to include more. I recently won Best in Show at a national juried PMC show, for a PMC sculpture that I did. My work can be viewed on my website, www.jmlcreations.com. My background: I have a BA degree in Interior Design. I am a self taught sewer with over 35 years experience, and had my own dressmaking business for about 5 years in the early 1980's, until we moved out of town. I've always worked in some capacity with crafts. My favorites include knitting and cross-stitching.
