I work in a small home studio and I specialise in lost wax casting in brass and silver. My main interest is in the direct casting of lace into metal. The jewellery made from the metal castings are keepsake and heirloom pieces and are especially popular with brides. I also enjoy casting twigs, leaves and seed pods in metal. I live in a rural community and find inspirations from my natural surroundings. My background as a ceramic artist has lead me to the casting of metal into unique jewellery pieces. I enjoy the process as much as I do designing a special heirloom piece.
