B"H Hi -- I'm Debbie. I live in the Northeast US. I have been designing jewelry for a long time (almost 30 years) but very few of my designs have actually "seen the light of day" so to speak. I originally learned how to get my ideas on "paper" when I was a student at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology in NY) and I used that knowledge to develop a technique on the computer (it used to take me days to complete a design by hand using paints etc. whereas I can "knock off" a design in about a half hour on the computer). So that brings me to the purpose of signing on to this list. I had been working with a metalsmith to get my designs created and marketed, but the deal fell through and nothing ever came from a multi-year association. So I'm back to square one, still looking for someone to work with. I can't pay someone to create my designs -- but I can (I hope!) pay for materials. I have a possible lead on an agent who could market these items once they are created, but they have to be created before I can work with her. In any case, this being a forum for such, I was wondering if there was anyone out there interested in working with me. Thanks for hearing me out.
