I first started making beaded jewellery nearly 6 years ago and have now changed direction to silver, gold and cut gemstones. I'm learning from night classes, and all the books I can find in libraries, and am slowly building up my collection of equipment to make a nice little workshop. I am very influenced by medieval and renaissance jewels, especially the Gothic aesthetic, and also the Gothic Revival designs of A. W. Pugin. The Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau aesthetics are also of interest to me. As I become more proficient I want to design and create collections to be shown in galleries and boutiques.; -
