After leaving an industry filled with distrust, fraud and coruption (bounded by the constraints of time and budget i.e., corporate government contracting), I feel like I landed in Fairy Tale Land. I am a beginner silversmith. My background is engineering, costume design (before I became an engineer), and daughter of two artisans. I have fallen in love with the silversmith community where I see an abundance of sharing information, willingness to teach and help, and expression of joy in creating with metal. Although I wish I could express my feeling for this trade, I find myself at a loss. Perhaps its true love.; -
