I live in Tucson Arizona I have been working fulltime as a goldsmith for 18 years I work from my home and do some custom work for stores but mostly do custom work for my own customers I work mainly in gold and platinum but have started doing more palladium. I make all my own tools I have worked as a machinest and have a pretty good shop at my house so I can make nearly anything I need such as dies and forming stakes I still do everything by hand, no cad or cnc. I like to enamel as well I have a guilloche machine that I use to do patterns that I enamel over. I was a member of orchid several years ago but stopped because trying to keep up was to difficult with a slow old computer plus being a techno peasant didnt help. I missed talking to other goldsmiths and craftspeople since their seems to be fewer and fewer around any more.
