I am a jewelry-maker. I started off with beading, learning my craft by reading and a lot of trial and error. I experimented with glass beads and moved on to semi-precious stones. Then I became interested in chain mailing and have been making chain mail bracelets in sterling silver for the last little while. I have been selling my work in small quantities through the gift shops of two small art galleries in Ontario. I took a silversmithing course recently and got hooked. Now I am working at improving my skills and I have found the information on this website extremely useful. I learned a lot that I did not even learn at my course. I have a lot of respect for the people who support this project -- the way they share their knowledge with others generously.
