Hi! Though I have always been drawn to the subject of jewelry, it seems like I'd been missing my cue all my life. Saturdays would find me gaping at ancient Egyptian pieces in museums. Breakfast at Tiffany's became my favorite movie. Gifts for me would always be jewelry. My latest position was as a technical communicator for software, and I am the Managing Editor for Israeli Mensa's monthly journal. (An ex-Bostonian, I now live in Israel.) I play several musical instruments and sing the blues, speak several languages, and like to make cake decorations. I am also in the middle of writing a fantastic novel. However, something was missing. I began to pay attention to who I really wanted to be. As I reviewed my life so far, I realized that I hadn't done the one thing I was crazy about: "something" with jewelry. Why not make the designs I want to wear? Needless to say, (chuckle), I now work in silver, specifically weaving/crocheting plus primite and wild/geometric jewelry. In addition, I haven't any qualms whatsoever about adding gems wherever I can! am hoping to go full time soon. What can I say? Life is getting better all the time. Glad to be aboard and hope to share knowledge! Keep shining, Devora
