I am a bench jeweler at a pawn shop by day and a "designer-craftsman" by night. I started making "real" (metal) jewelry at East Carolina University in 1990. I've worked for high-end craftsmen, retail jewelers, a wholesale repair shop, and now the ultimate in novelty and excitement, a pawn shop. I'm working toward my G.G. at the moment. I'm also a gardener, rabid letter-to-the-editor writer, mom, and fan of serious oriental food. I make silver jewelry for my own business on the side and do home parties and small shows. Always interested in questions and answers.
