Hi all. I have been reading the daily for a long while I really thought I had joined and tried to comment an a few topics recently but it looks like I did not join correctly. I am completely self taught from reading McCreight, Lap Journal and other info, with minimal help from a rock shop / gem seller here in Kansas City. Worked with silver for a long time (not many pieces, I have a full time job as a field service tech with a packaging co that takes me on the road a lot) and now with copper due to price. Finally hit the point a while back when my wife said she “couldn’t wear all this stuff” so just starting to do some small craft shows. I am sure the real pros on here would laugh at my work as I am not as skillful as some of you. I have become pretty good at reticulation by coming close to melting several Sterling pieces. I also know guite a bit about metal work in general. anyway glad I am completely joining so I can comment on some of the topics as several have been very interesting lately. I go by Rockboy so if you see me you will know who is commenting. If I am incorrect in my comments feel free to correct me as I am here to learn thanks Rockboy / Tim Kienzle (ya wish the watch family.
