I have always liked jewelry and when the opportunity prsented itself that i would be able to take classes at the crafts studio at UCSD in LaJolla, i jumped at the chance. I have R/R MS that makes spending long time at the studio difficult but also have a home studio space that is fun to work in. I like to design things that could become production work. For now I am just getting my feet wet in the basic techniques. Much of my experience is in photo engraving and i have some pieces that are ready to market...another area of jewelry making to explore.
