My Name is Paul Richter. I am originally from Pittsburgh PA and moved to New England when I came here on Vacation and decided to stay. I began working in the jewelry industry at the age of 18 when my mother insisited I put on a tie and apply for a job at the local jewelers ( I thought she was crazy)and was hired to shorten watch bands, install batteries and sell jewelry. When I moved from Pittsburgh to Massechusetts I got a job at a store named Cooper Jewelers. It's owners Howard and Roselyn Cooper became my mentors and encouraged me to try new things. With their support, I taught myself the art of jewelry manufacture and with thier blessings in 1990 I began my own business, Richter's Diamonds & Fine Jewelry.
