I am a novice jeweler and lapidary. I went to a jewelry school, but 10 years ago, and have had limited access to jewelry-making tools since then. I am a member of my local rock club, and have access to some larger lapidary equipment there (slab saws, grinders and such). I am in the process of setting up a home workshop for lapidary and jewelry making, as I have collected sufficient equipment, but the clearing and lighting and wiring etc. efforts keep being interrupted by the rest of life.
