Metalsmithing is a passion for me which I began shortly after I retired in 2012. I enrolled in the Jewellery Design program at Lasalle College in 2017, and completed the program in 2018 with a mid 90’s average grade. Since then I have set up a studio at home complete acetylene, oxy-propane, and tig welding. Most of my sales have been word of mouth as there have been limited opportunities since startup. Last year I attended the SNAG Conference in Chicago and saw some amazing work. I continue to increase my knowledge and skills through on line and purchased courses during the Covid lockdown. I am a great lover of texture and gemstones, and most of my work incorporates precious metal and stones.
