Wyoming goldsmith working in precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones. My work generally is composed of ancient techniques utilized with contemporary design. My favorite techniques include tufa carving/casting, sand and clay casting, sugaring, granulation, etching, die repousse and reticulation. I am a roster artist with the Wyoming Arts Council. I teach workshop intensives for colleges, guilds and jewelry programs. My work has been featured in many trade journals and some general magazines. My technical articles have appeared in Rock & Gem, Lapidary Journal, Step-by-Step Jewelry, Ganoksin's Tips From the Jeweler's Bench, and in metal guilds' newsletters. Ganoksin/Orchid has been part of my life since 1996. It is a wonderful electronic symposium that teaches and informs those in the jewelry trade with international subscribers. I can't live without my daily fix that Hanuman and Tan provide to our community, and I thank them for their dedicated service.
