I majored in jewellery and silversmithing at art school some 30 years ago. I primarily make one-off silver pieces, specialising in hand fabrication and forming, and repoussé. For the last 18 years I have been heading up the jewellery department at the local technical college. I live in Tasmania where the stunning natural environment is a huge inspiration to me - Kate
