I have been a designer/goldsmith for 29 years. Retail store for 18 years, moved to my wonderfull studio full time 2 years ago. Like most of us, I just want to make it and let someone else sell it.( if it were only that simpe) I employ "systems" repetitive elements, movement, fluidity. Modern twists on anchient techniques. Undergrad work at Montana State, Bozeman. Graduate work in Scotland. I would love to see opportunities for metal/goldsmiths to exchange studios, being self employed there isn't a lot of vacation options where we can also work. A change of scenery could be great creative therapy.
