I'm a life-long resident of Alaska and have been making jewelry for over 20 years. In 2002 I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing at the University of Alaska/Fairbanks. I work out of my personal studio at Well Street Art Company, providing one on one instruction as well as a variety of metal workshops. >From 2002 until 2006 I held a position at the University of Alaska as a Metals Tech, which involved overseeing the metals shop as well as teaching a wide variety of metalsmithing techniques. I have the equipment (as well as the knowledge) to instruct on a wide ranging variety of techniques which include lapidary, lost wax casting, mokume gane, enameling, fused and cold-link chainmaking, stonesetting, moldmaking as well as simple and advanced fabrication techniques. Over the years I have held several solo exhibitions and have also participated in many group shows. I've accumulated many awards for my work, including a Best of Show in 1994 while still a student.; www.alchemyofalaska.net Alchemy
