I have a lifelong love affair with rocks. In the small amount of time left over from raising children and pursuing an unrelated career, I have made jewelry. My current work is in metal clay. I am joining this forum because I have a question: Has anyone embedded and fired a CZ in typical fashion in a PMC piece, and subsequently worked with enamel on a different area of the same piece? Will the CZ survive the repeated entry into/exit from a hot kiln? The enamel would not be touching the CZ. Thanks for any help on this subject, and I look forward to reading the digest when it comes!
