I am an opalholic, and have been cutting for around 25 years. A few years ago I got interested in Intarsia. I have collected some 25 materials for intarsia, some of them exotic (meteorites for example). Opal cutting is an expensive hobby and intarsia is very time consuming - I have a day job too. So, I do what I can. I started learning jewelry fabrication since I had many cut opals and intarsia sitting around. I learned a bit, but still a newb in that area. I’m interesting in picking everyone’s brains clean!
