Got the jewellery bug at night school which I went to as a favour to a friend. Now I’m ill health retired from the day job (Digital Transformation Consultant) I’ve been making jewellery for six years (quite badly) and selling it through my wee antique shop. Now I’m busy unlearning all my bad habits at college where I’m doing an HND part time. I’ve invested my pension lump sum in my workshop and am pretty well equipped for someone with my limited skillset. Last year I learnt a few new stone setting techniques and love doing square stones, flush setting and I’m improving slowly at pave.
