Hello...I live in northern BC and have been working in the forest industry for the past 10 years, previous to that I completed a BFA degree at the University of Alberta majoring in sculpture & drawing. I think that is where part of the interest in jewellery making and design stems from, I prefer the much smaller scale jewellery provides plus I like the fact that I can wear the item created. I have been learning about making jewellery in silver and copper for the past 3 years, its been a slow process because it has been through self-instruction but discovering Ganoksin has been a huge help as have been the numerous books I have purchased and the trial and error I have experienced. I love the discovery of information, techniques and the application of the tools and equipment I have purchased to create some pretty cool pieces. Can't wait for the rolling mill to arrive because it is going to change things up alot! Thanks for all the information Ganoksin!
