After a year's hiatus, I've been looking forward to getting back on the Orchid list. My area of expertise is historical reproduction, specifically Tudor and Elizabethian period (Medieval bling). I teach basic silversmithing classes, and work primarily on commissions for re-enactors, museum, and stage. If someone would've told me ten years ago that I'd be making crowns for a living, I would've said thay were crazy, but it's an interesting career path.
