I am currently living in Lima, Peru, as a trailing spouse in the foreign service. This is our second post; our first post was in Sri Lanka where I got a LOT of exposure to the gem and jewelry industry, and finally decided to pursue a career in jewelry manufacture and design. I'm currently taking classes for certification at Instituto Acevedo's here in Lima. I'm looking forward to the point when I'll have enough training to make pieces at a professional level!
