I've always loved jewelry. Not so much to wear, but to examine and wonder, "How'd they do that?" Now as an over-scheduled adult, I look at jewelry and ask, "Why didn't they do this instead?" I've been collecting stones, gemstones, books and benchtools for years. Now that I've acquired insomnia over visions of jewelry design and detail, I'm gonna take the plunge and strike up my torch. Of all the books I've bought and read, T. McCreight and Jinks McGrath have inspired me the most. They're the writers who've made me feel capable.
