I am a cattle rancher and live on my family place. I have been making jewelry since 1983. An early interest in blacksmithing led me to take a sculpture class in college. A girlfriend caused me to make my first piece of jewelry while taking the sculpture class. I kept making jewelry and reading and learning about jewelry and metals after college. Soon after college I had the good fortune to meet Pernie Fallon who is a trained and practicing metalsmith. Pernie acted as a mentor to me for years unstintingly sharing tools, knowledge, and inspiration. My jewelry today strongly reflects the early blacksmithing influence, as most pieces are either forged or finished with a hammered finish. Currently my work is shown in Jett Gallery in Santa Fe NM. , and High Gloss in the Galleria in Houston TX.
