I'm a studio jeweler in New York City, making one-of-a-kind pieces for private clients. Am in the process of developing a web-site to show my work, and am having great fun learning Photoshop. Jewelry-making is a second career for me. My first was as a medical microbiologist, till physical problems caused me to change. I went to the GIA in Carlsbad, CA to get my training as a GJG with Design & Wax. Since then I've been learning all the metal techniques the GIA doesn't present--fun things like fusion, mokume-gane, reticulation. My designs and pieces are strongly influenced by Asian art and the jewelry, art and architecture of ancient civilizations. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing with you all.
