Hi Everyone, I was on the list for some time - largely as a lurker, but recently took a brief hiatus. Now I see I have the opportunity to introduce myself! About two years ago, I took a couple of metalworking classes and have since become hopelessly hooked. I've built a studio in my home of which I am immensely proud, and have already sold many pieces of my work. But since I have a "day job" as an editorial cartoonist (Albany, NY USA), my jewelry work is confined to evenings and weekends as my schedule permits. I look forward to continuing my goldsmithing education here on Orchid, and maybe contribute an insight or two of my own now and then. A hearty hello to everyone! John de Rosier
