I am an independant jewelry designer/goldsmith who is fairly new to the industry, leaving behind a career in graphic design. I completed the bench jewelers program at Blaine Lewis' New Approach School, received GIA's Applied Jewelry Arts diploma, and taken some workshops at the Revere Academy. My current focus is to refine my hand fabrication skills and find my niche in the industry. I want to continue working as an independant out of my own studio and sell my jewelry through galleries and jewelry stores. I also plan to establish some business relationships with jewelry stores for performing repair and custom work. During my education over the past two years, I have been collecting stones, purchasing tools and setting up my studio. I have found that I have quite a fondness for gemstones and pearls, which will be the focus of my jewelry. I have also discovered that I am a real tool junkie!; -
