I started blacksmithing around 2005, and have gotten interested in smaller work since then, mostly copper but some silver too; took one jewelry forging class and one jewelry casting class at my local community college after reaching some limits in the smaller work. I am not a full-time artist and do not even consider myself a "pro" although I certainly sell pieces both large and small. Most of my work has gone to trades with other artists, gifts to family and friends, and donations to silent auctions or other non-profit fundraisers.
