A taste of what I teach the advanced students, once they know how to
make Turk’s-head rings:
The one I wear all the time, which some of you have seen and handled
in person, is very small, so this one was done with moderately large
rings, maybe size seven or so… I haven’t actually measured, that’s
a guess, because it really doesn’t make much difference in the
chain.
It’ll be a sort of flexible torc style necklace, requiring a clasp. I
suppose a piece of something springy could be run through it and make
it stiff enough to stay on by itself.
My notion is to drop one or two semi-precious beads into the tube,
small enough to roll around in it while it’s being worn.
