Yes. I opted to remove most of the non-silver jewellery from the cabinet. Now we only have the big anatomical heart in copper “and brass” in that cabinet, and it’s impressive the time change in silver oxidization! It’s so much better, it’s incredible. Now we’re back to cleaning the jewellery maybe once a month, it was getting yellow at one week in the cabinet before!!!
I couldn’t notice any difference in the time span for copper or brass to tarnish differently. If I didn’t touch them, they would be perfectly fine, with no oxidization whatsoever.

Congrants! whatever was going on no longer needs an explanation… your problem is solved!!! congrants on a simple solution to a complex problem… practicality always overrrides theory, when it comes to cost effectiveness…
