Yak, sore fingers

I have to second this motion and suggest Dawn clear dish
detergent which does a great job on any grease that got on your
hands.

I use Dawn too, but have found that the tips of my fingers are dry
and will split, bleed and peel. It is really hard to work when
ones finger tips are sore and bleeding. I’ve had to stop work and
give my hands a rest. At night I use “bag balm” from the mill
store dairy farmers use it on cows utters. Before I go to bed I
rub it into my finger tips and put on white cotton gloves. I guess
I am a really sissy.

When my English Bulldogs got what we call “hot spots” a Vet told
me to try mixing Sulfur Sublimed Powder with Vaseline (petroleum
jelly) and rub it on the hot spots. It not only cleared the hot
spots in quick time but it also healed my sore and bleeding fingers
in quick time as well. Dolores

Just remember Dawn takes grease out of your way. That also means
oil and it will suck the natural oils from your skin. Try using a
sensitive skin detergent instead or at least every other time it
won’t dry your hands out as bad and try using a medicated lotion
it will help heal those sore fingers. Be kind to your hands they are
your living.
